ACCOUNTING FIRM MST CELEBRATES 65TH ANNIVERSARY
Atlanta, GA – On October 1, 1956, MST opened its first office in Brunswick, Georgia, with two partners and five employees. Today, the rapidly growing accounting firm also has offices in Atlanta, Duluth, and New York, with 10 partners and approximately 150 employees.
MST has much to be proud of, not only from decades of serving an impressive roster of clients but, earlier this year, it appointed Angela Griner, CPA, age 42, as the first woman and youngest partner to lead the firm. Angela has been with MST since 2003, and in 2015, she was elected to the firm’s executive management committee.
“MST remains focused on creating long-lasting relationships with our clients to help them accomplish their goals. I am excited to be leading our team as we navigate the current pandemic challenges while preparing for the future,” said Angela.
Although MST is using the occasion to celebrate the past 65 years, they are even more excited about what the future holds for their staff and clients. Recently, MST was noted by Accounting Today as a “Firm to Watch” and ranked as one of the “Top 25 Accounting Firms” by Atlanta Business Chronicle. There’s more – it was also named one of the “Top Workplaces” by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and, most recently, it earned the recognition of being a 2021 IPA 200 Firm.
