Jim specializes in planning, supervision and completion of audits and related tax returns. A 1965 graduate of the University of Georgia, Jim received a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He entered the field of Public Accounting in 1965 with DeLoach & Company, now Moore Stephens Tiller.
Jim is extremely active in local affairs; he has served as treasurer and president of the Brunswick Jaycees; trustee and treasurer of the Brunswick College Foundation; member and treasurer of the Glynn County Airport Commission; member of the American Cancer Society; current member of the Brunswick Rotary Club; current member and treasurer of the Glynn County Emergency Management Agency Search and Recovery Squad; and current member and past Chairman of the Brantley County Development Authority. He and his wife are members of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick.
He has served as a member and on numerous committees of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and served as President of the Brunswick Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Litigation Support Committee of the Moore Stephens North America network.
