Christopher B. Thomas graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in accounting as well as a Masters of Accounting degree. Since graduation, he has continued his professional development through attendance of continuing professional education courses and seminars sponsored by Moore Stephens Tiller LLC, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and other professional organizations. These courses have covered accounting, auditing, individual income tax, corporate income tax, estate taxation, etc.

Chris has been with Moore Stephens Tiller LLC since 2003. He has experience in working with privately owned businesses, closely held corporations, high net-worth individuals and nonprofit agencies. Since joining the Firm, Chris has gained valuable experience in the areas of client accounting, income tax planning and preparation services for both corporations and individuals, and auditing with an emphasis in governmental and nonprofit audits.

Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he currently serves as President of the local chapter. He is a past graduate of Leadership Glynn, is active in the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and serves on the boards of several local nonprofit organizations.

Chris’ variety of experience both in accounting and tax related matters with the firm, in addition to his diligence regarding his work, makes him a knowledgeable and valuable member of the staff of Moore Stephens Tiller LLC.

In his free time, Chris enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending time with his wife and two children.
