Doug joined Moore Stephens Tiller as a Senior Tax Manager in July 2006 and became an Associate Member in June 2007. Primarily, Doug provides individual tax preparation and planning services for high net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. He also has experience in litigation support, preparing business plans for start-ups and providing business valuation services.

Doug has worked in public accounting since 1983 and most recently operated his own CPA practice from 2003 until joining MST. Doug cites his experience as a business owner as an asset in serving his MST clients because it provided him with broad-based experience that goes beyond technical ability and it has made him more aware of the pressures that small business owners face.

Doug is a University of Georgia alumnus, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1983. He’s a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Doug is married and has one daughter, and in his free time you can find him on the golf course.
