Charles specializes in working with privately owned businesses and closely held corporations as a business and tax advisor. His responsibilities have been varied, encompassing planning and completion of audits and related tax returns. Charles has prepared or supervised and reviewed the preparation of the applicable income tax returns accompanying audited and unaudited financial statements.

Charles is a 1974 graduate of the University of Georgia, receiving a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He joined Moore Stephens Tiller in 1993 and assumed his role as Member-in-Charge in 2001. He also currently serves on the Firm’s executive management committee.

He is a member of Georgia Southern University’s School of Accountancy Advisory Board, Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Charles is a member of First Baptist Church of Brunswick. He sits on the board of directors for numerous privately-held companies.
