Bill is a former managing member (partner) of Moore Stephens Tiller LLC. A Georgia native, he graduated from the University of Georgia in 1972 with a master’s degree in accounting. After college, Bill served as an officer in the United States Army Field Artillery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Bill later joined our firm in the Brunswick office and was admitted to the membership in 1979.
Today, in addition to his strategic and administrative duties, Bill specializes in providing tax and financial consulting services to corporations, individuals and non-profit organizations.
Bill is a Trustee of the Georgia Tax Forum, is a trustee of the Atlanta Tax Forum and the Georgia Federal Tax Conference. He is also a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. He also currently sits on the board for the University of Georgia’s J.M Tull School of Accounting. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of First Newton Bank of Covington, GA, chairman of Moore Stephens North America (MSNA), and Associated Accounting Firms International. When he isn’t working, Bill enjoys shooting sporting clays and hunting.
