In addition to his strategic and administrative duties, Bill specializes in providing tax and financial consulting services to corporations, individuals and non-profit organizations.
A Georgia native, Bill graduated from the University of Georgia in 1972 with a master's degree in accounting. After college, Bill served as an officer in the United States Army Field Artillery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and later joined Moore Stephens Tiller in the Brunswick office. Bill was admitted to membership in 1979 and 11 years later assumed his current role as Firm Managing Member.
In addition to his strategic and administrative duties, Bill specializes in providing tax and financial consulting services to corporation, high-net worth individuals and non-profit organizations. His major interest has been in the area of estate planning.
Bill is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, the Atlanta Tax Forum, the Planned Giving Advisory Board of the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and a Trustee of the Georgia Federal Tax Conference. He also currently sits on the board for the University of Georgia's J.M. Tull School of Accounting. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of First Newton Bank of Covington, GA, chairman of Moore Stephens North America (MSNA), and Associated Accounting Firms International. In addition, Bill was recently inducted into the YMCA of Georgia Hall of Fame.
When he isn't working, Bill enjoys shooting sporting clays and hunting.
