David A. Johnson, CPA

David is a specialist in tax consulting, planning and compliance services. His primary functions include tax research on a broad range of specialized tax issues along with implementing concentrated planning and tax minimization techniques. David is also responsible for the detailed review of compliance engagements and assisting clients with achieving their tax goals. His clients include a broad range of industries with concentrations in real estate, state and local taxes, closely held businesses, manufacturing, service business and consolidated entities.

Before joining Moore Stephens Tiller in September 1999, David spent six years in public accounting with firms in South Carolina and Georgia.

David, a native of Dalton, Georgia, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Georgia and a Master of Accountancy with a tax concentration from the University of Tennessee. In addition, he has completed post-graduate courses in taxation at Georgia State University. David is an active member of the Young Alumni Association of The University of Georgia. He is also a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

David’s interests include spending time with his family, freelance journalism, University of Georgia sports and attending major gymnastics competitions across the country.
