Marcus G. Dowling, CPA

Marcus joined the Firm in 1982 after graduating from Valdosta State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting. In 1990, he was admitted to membership in the firm.

He is head of the firms Attest and Assurance Services practice. Much of his work centers on working with closely held businesses and nonprofit organizations in the areas of assurance services, accounting support and business consultation.

Marcus has significant experience in the Audit and Accounting services area including preparation of or review of reports and accounts prepared in accordance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principals. The majority of his continuing professional education through the years has been in this and related areas.

He has been an active participant in a number of community and professional organizations. He has served on the boards of directors of Orchestra Atlanta, the Georgia Society of CPAs, the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, the Sandy Springs Rotary Club, and has served as president of the North Perimeter Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs.
