Chief Information Officer
As CIO of Moore Stephens Tiller, Barry provides solutions for the design, implementation and application of information systems. Much of his work focuses on helping clients and staff apply technology to increase efficiency and lower costs.
Under Barry’s direction, MST implemented a number of improvements that allow staff to work smarter, including a wide area network (WAN), paperless audit and tax document management, an a phone system that allows our firm to connect with clients anywhere in the world via computer.
Barry is also an experienced auditor with expertise in applying technology to audit engagements. He has been the in-charge accountant on audits in a variety of industries, and is experienced in all aspects of the audit process, from planning and budgeting to management and review.
Barry is chairman of the Technology Committee for Moore Stephens North America, a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs, and regular attendee at technology conferences such as the AICPA TECH+ Conference.
Before joining Moore Stephens Tiller in 1996, Barry spent five years with BellSouth Telecommunications and ran an information technology consulting business. He is a native Georgian and holds bachelor degrees in economics and accounting from the University of Georgia.

Chris is a specialist in tax advisory and compliance, financial modeling and analysis, and transaction structuring services. Chris’s practice focuses on assisting businesses, business owners, high net worth individuals, and legacy generations to maximize after-tax profit generation and retained wealth, efficiently acquire and dispose assets and activities, and fulfill recurring financial and tax reporting and compliance requirements. Chris’s client base includes a substantial presence in the real estate, private equity and international sectors and includes numerous pass-through entities, such as partnerships, LLCs, S corporations, and trusts.
Chris has over twenty years of experience and graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration (BSBA). He received his master of accountancy from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Chris joined Moore Stephens Tiller in 2009 after ten years in the tax department of a Big Four firm. Chris also worked as a regional accounting supervisor at Georgia Pacific Corporation and as the controller of a family owned multi-state convenience store and fuel distribution business.
Chris is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and is active in the Tax and Real Estate Sections. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves on its Tax Practice Guidelines and Checklist Committee.

Marcus joined the Firm in 1982 after graduating from Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 1990, he was admitted to membership in the Firm; over the years, he has served as Member (Partner) In-Charge of the Firm’s Atlanta Office and Director of the Firm’s Assurance Services. Marcus was elected to serve as Managing Member (Partner) in October 2009.
In addition to his firm management responsibilities, Marcus provides assurance and advisory services to a number of the Firm’s investment partnership, venture capital, and distribution clients. He also serves as a quality reviewer and technical advisor for the Firm’s Assurance Services practice.
Marcus has been an active participant in a number of community and professional organizations. He has served on the board of directors of Orchestra Atlanta, the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, the Sandy Springs Rotary Club, the Atlanta Entrepreneur Institute, the North Perimeter Chapter of The Georgia Society of CPAs (as president), and the Moore Stephens North America Audit Committee (as chairman).

Suzanne is the Chief Financial Officer and Human Resource Manager of Moore Stephens Tiller LLC. Prior to assuming the CFO position, Suzanne was a manager in the Atlanta office of Moore Stephens Tiller, where she specialized in auditing, accounting, and business advisory services. She also had considerable experience in tax and accounting matters related to employee benefit plans. Her clients ranged from new, owner-managed businesses to large, established retail and service companies with international operations.
Today, Suzanne manages the many business aspects of operating an accounting firm and two subsidiary companies. Her duties include budgeting, cash management, employee and partner benefits, handling mergers and acquisition issues, human resources issues, recruiting, facilities management, coordination of the Firm’s policies, procedures, and operations. She also serves as the liaison to the managing partner and management committee for the Executive office team, which includes Marketing, HR, IT, and accounting functions.
Suzanne joined the Firm after graduating from the University of Georgia, where she earned a degree in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, The Georgia Society of CPAs, Association for Accounting Administrators, MSNA Administrator and Human Resource Committees, Society for Human Resource Management, and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
Her interests include tennis, golf, traveling, and Georgia football.
Member – Atlanta Office
Cary specializes in financial reporting and business tax matters. He has more than 26 years of experience in serving clients in a variety of industries including wholesale distribution, real estate, retail, nightclubs, health care, Internet, nonprofit, and retirement planning.
A native of Atlanta, Cary earned his bachelor's degree from Emory University and his master of business administration from Georgia State University. While at Georgia State, he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi Scholastic Society. Cary joined Moore Stephens Tiller in 2001 and became a member in 2008.
Cary is a member and former director of The Georgia Society of CPAs and is a former president of the society's Buckhead Chapter. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
Member-in-Charge – Atlanta Office
Barry specializes in services to physician practices and other selected health care entities. He actively counsels and assists his corporate clients in all facets of their businesses, including finances, operations, and practice management. Areas of operation include, but are not limited to, collections, account managing, reimbursement, and benchmarking. Barry also counsels and assists his individual clients in the areas of financial and strategic issues and reviews tax strategies that will assist in generating and preserving present and future net worths in preparation for early retirement.
Barry joined Moore Stephens Tiller in 1989, following his graduation from the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In 1999, he was admitted to membership in the Firm and assumed responsibility for Moore Stephens Tiller’s growing health care services practice. He now manages the entire health care sector for the Firm, in addition to serving on our executive management committee.
He is an active member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and the Medical Group Management Association and is also a guest speaker throughout the community on various health care issues.
In his free time, Barry enjoys golf and fitness training.
Member – Gwinnett Office
Angela is the Director of Assurance for the Firm. She specializes in audit and assurance services for closely held businesses and nonprofits. Angela works extensively with private foundations as well as other industries including construction and manufacturing.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2003, Angela worked four years with a privately held distribution company in Athens, Georgia. In this position, she acquired significant industry accounting experience.
Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting (summa cum laude) and a master of accountancy from the University of Georgia. She is a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. She currently serves on the board of directors of the J.M. Tull Family YMCA.
When not working, Angela enjoys traveling and being a mother to her twin boys.
Member-in-Charge – Gwinnett Office
Greg is a specialist in accounting, tax, and business advisory services. In his role as business advisor, Greg consults with clients on a number of strategic matters, including structuring, acquisition of financing, benchmarking, productivity, and strategic tax planning.
Greg's practice includes a substantial presence in the nonprofit sector, including a specialty in private foundations ranging in size from $10 million to more than $500 million in assets.
Before joining Moore Stephens Tiller in 1989, Greg spent five years with the Emerging Business Group of the firm of Deloitte & Touche. In 1996, he was admitted to the membership of Moore Stephens Tiller. He currently serves on the Firm's executive management committee.
Greg, a native Atlantan, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from The University of Georgia (magna cum laude) and an MBA from Emory University. He is involved with many charitable and community organizations and serves on the board of several, including the Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation, the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. He has recently served as a speaker to several groups (including the Southeastern Council on Foundations and the State Bar of Georgia) on various topics of interest to nonprofits.
Member in Charge – Coastal Georgia Office
Angie is the managing member (partner) of Moore Stephens Tiller’s Coastal Georgia office. She graduated in December 1999 from Georgia Southern University with a master of accounting and a bachelor of business administration degree. Since graduation, she has continued her professional development through attendance of continuing professional education courses and seminars sponsored by Moore Stephens Tiller LLC, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and other professional organizations. These courses have covered accounting, auditing, individual income tax, corporate income tax, estate taxation, as well as other topics.
Angie has been with Moore Stephens Tiller LLC since January of 2000. She has worked extensively with nonprofit entities including publicly supported entities and community foundations. She also has experience in working with privately owned businesses, closely held corporations, and governmental organizations. Since joining the Firm, Angie has gained valuable experience in the areas of auditing, accounting, and income tax returns.
Angie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, having also served as president of the local chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as Treasurer for the Board of the Glynn Community Crisis Center. Angie is a graduate of Leadership Glynn and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Leadership Academy.
In her free time, Angie enjoys fishing, traveling, shopping, and being a mother to her two daughters.
Associate Member – Gwinnett Office
David is a specialist in tax consulting, planning, and compliance services. His primary functions include tax research on a broad range of specialized tax issues along with implementing concentrated planning and tax minimization techniques. David is also responsible for the detailed review of compliance engagements and assisting clients with achieving their tax goals. His diverse clientele includes closely held businesses, real estate companies, state and local taxes, manufacturers, service business, and consolidated entities.
Before joining Moore Stephens Tiller in September 1999, David spent six years in public accounting with firms in South Carolina and Georgia.
David, a native of Dalton, Georgia, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Georgia and a master of accountancy with a tax concentration from the University of Tennessee. In addition, he has completed post-graduate courses in taxation at Georgia State University. David is an active member of the Young Alumni Association of The University of Georgia. He is also a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
David’s interests include spending time with his family, freelance journalism, University of Georgia sports, and attending major gymnastics competitions across the country.
Associate Partner – Atlanta Office
Rose’s practice is varied with an emphasis in the individual and corporate tax area with additional advisory services provided in tax and financial planning. She has been with Moore Stephens Tiller since 1989.
Rose is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where in 1988 she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration (magna cum laude). She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Financial Planner. She is also a licensed registered representative and a registered investment advisor. Rose is a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and the Financial Planning Association.
Member – Atlanta Office
Bill is a former managing member (Partner) of Moore Stephens Tiller LLC. A Georgia native, he graduated from The University of Georgia in 1972 with a Master’s degree in accounting. After college, Bill served as an officer in the United States Army Field Artillery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Bill later joined the Firm’s Coastal Georgia office and was admitted to membership in 1979.
Today, in addition to his strategic and administrative duties, Bill specializes in providing tax and financial consulting services to corporations, individuals, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations.
Bill is a Trustee of the Georgia Federal Tax Conference, a member of the Atlanta Tax Forum and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. He is an Emeritus Member of the Advisory Board for the University of Georgia’s JM Tull School of Accounting. Bill is currently a director of Fidelity Southern Corporation and Fidelity Bank in Atlanta.
He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of First Newton Bank of Covington, GA, as Chairman of Moore Stephens North America (MSNA) and as Chairman of Associated Accounting Firms International. He has also served on the editorial board of The Tax Advisor magazine.
When Bill is not working, he enjoys shooting sporting clays, hunting, and spending time with his family, especially his three grandsons.
Member – Retirement Plan Administrators LLC
Katrina is a member with Retirement Plan Administrators LLC (RPA). Katrina began her career in the retirement planning area with Robinson-Humphrey in 1979 after receiving a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. She later formed Pension Resources, Inc., which eventually merged with RPA.
As a partner in RPA, Katrina is responsible for practice development as well as providing the technical expertise needed to maintain the professional integrity of the practice.
Katrina assisted in establishing the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA) Benefits Council of Atlanta and currently serves as president elect of its board of directors.
Her time away from the office is spent with her husband, daughter, and son.
Associate Member – Gwinnett Office
Erin’s experience includes attestation and accounting advisory services, and her specialty is in tax services, including tax compliance and planning. Erin's clients range from closely held businesses to large public companies in a multitude of industries.
Before relocating to Georgia and joining the Firm in July of 2002, Erin was a senior tax accountant for the technology tax consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in the metro Washington, D.C. area. Prior to that, she was with Watkins Meegan Drury, LLC, also a member of the Moore Stephens affiliation.
Erin is a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Erin has been a licensed CPA since May of 2000, and in public accounting since her graduation from Washington and Jefferson College outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
When she is not working, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Her favorite activities include traveling, boating, and shopping.

Jill’s practice is concentrated in the tax compliance area. Her clientele ranges from individuals to nonprofit organizations to businesses in a wide variety of industries. She joined Moore Stephens Tiller in 2006.
Prior to joining the Firm, Jill worked over fifteen years for a local Atlanta CPA firm where she was exposed to all types of taxation. She gained valuable experience in individual, corporation, fiduciary, and partnership taxation.
Jill graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting in 1990. She was the recipient of the American Society of Women Accountants scholarship award, the Golden Key Award for Scholastics, a member of Beta Alpha Psi scholastic society, and was the Pledge Class President of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority at GSU.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Society of Accountants.
In her free time, Jill enjoys shopping, movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Member – Retirement Plan Administrators LLC
Peggy is a partner and founder of Retirement Plan Administrators LLC. Her background includes employment with Robinson Humphrey/Smith Barney and Benefit Services Corporation.
She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and is an advisory board member in the Consumer Economics School at the University of Georgia, assisting with designing a curriculum for the Certified Financial Planning degree recently approved by the State Board of Regents.
Peggy spends her personal time with her husband and two sons.
Associate Member – Atlanta Office
Doug joined Moore Stephens Tiller as a Senior Tax Manager in July 2006 and became an Associate Member in June 2007. Primarily, Doug provides individual tax preparation and planning services for high net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. He also has experience in litigation support, preparing business plans for start-ups, and providing business valuation services.
Doug has worked in public accounting since 1983. From 2003 up to the time he joined Moore Stephens Tiller, Doug operated his own CPA practice. He cites this experience as a business owner as an asset in serving clients because it provided him with broad-based knowledge that goes beyond technical ability, in addition to making him more aware of the pressures that small business owners face.
Doug is a University of Georgia alumnus, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1983. He’s a member of the American Institute of CPAs, The Georgia Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Doug is married and has one daughter. In his free time, you can find him on the golf course.

Chris specializes in tax consulting, compliance, and planning services. In particular, these services include researching, developing, and implementing tax minimization strategies for clients from a broad range of industries. Chris has experience in working with closely held companies, manufacturers, multi-state companies, real estate companies, professional service companies, and high net worth individuals.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, Chris graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2002 with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting (magna cum laude) as well as a master of accounting. Upon graduation, Chris joined Moore Stephens Tiller’s Coastal Georgia office. Chris currently serves on the Firm’s executive management committee.
Chris is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and The Georgia Society of CPAs, where he is a past president of his local chapter. He is also a graduate of Leadership Glynn and the GSCPA Leadership Academy.
In his free time, Chris enjoys hunting and spending time with his wife and three children.
